Tanner Craig is the founder of Bur Oak Taxidermy.
Tanner’s passion in life is hunting and fishing. Taxidermy is a natural extension of his passion. He shot his first deer at age 7. He caught a trophy fish at age 8. He shot his first bobcat at age 9. He has hunted or fished, or both, in multiple states. He understands the time people devote to hunting and fishing. He puts the same time and energy into your taxidermy projects that he puts into his own.

Tanner understands the differences between poorly done mounts and high-quality mounts.
Often these differences are not readily apparent to the untrained eye. He strives to produce only high-quality mounts. He was trained by an expert taxidermist. That training combined with his passion for proper preservation of the animals, fish, and birds, leads to well-done taxidermy.
